Texture: Texture Faux Finish ranges from stone effects to stucco to Venetian Plaster and involves adding body to the area being worked and produces a depth of field that cannot be reproduced by any other process. The real beauty of this finish is the ability to produce spectacular results with only soft and subtle colors.
Shape: Shape Faux Finish range includes stencil’s, Modello’s and imprints and can produce a simple vine to a custom, one off pattern for an entire ceiling. These can be applied with glaze and/or texture and/or metallic finishes and/or antiqued.
Soft: Soft Faux Finishes are the gentle, hushed finishes such as Strie or Frottage, they are very subtle and often used as a background to enhance art, furniture etc.
Antiquing: Antiquing Faux finish makes something look older, usually achieved by applying a darkened glaze but also a crackle effect. This is usually the last finish on top of one or more of the other finishes listed here.
Metallics: Metallic Faux Finish ranges from Gold Leaf to foils to metal colored glazes. Absolutely breath taking finishes with spectacular resonance, often looks like three or four different finishes depending upon the type of light. Frequently used as a middle stage in one of the other finishes listed here.
